QUARAH

After the military coup, Colonel Mahas took over the leadership of Quarah. Now the country is recovering from those tough years. Most of the population lives in the capital because during the coup it was very hard to live in the countryside. Now people are rebuilding their lives with agriculture. The economy is based on the natural gas deposits but it's recovering slowly from the coup. Unfortunately most of the money goes to the small rich part of Quarah, the poor people stay poor. But Quarah offers a lot of good things as well. Tourists can do jeep safaris through the national parks with wildlife. The best part of Quarah is the island of the holy Baboons. Quarahi worship Baboons in their religion Jupilism. Also the national product, Fecal Matter comes from the Baboons and many civilians believe it has healing powers.
